Cherry Orchard Festival presents a vibrant Meet-The- Artist series at New York Public Library. The event is part of the Cherry Orchard Festival’s programming, presented in partnership with Literary Theater Dialogue

The program will feature:
• World-renowned artistic director Rimas Tuminas and set designer Adomas Yacovskis
• The leading actors of the Vakhtangov State Academic Theatre: Viktor Sukhorukov, Sergei Makovetsky, Yevgeny Knyazev, Aleksei Guskov, Vladimir Simonov, and Yulia Rutberg

Along with Cherry Orchard Festival producers, Maria Shclover and Irina Shabshis, the cast will answer the questions about the play, talk about Vakhtangov Theatre’s history and traditions, as Russia’s most celebrated repertoire theater. The event will be presented by Irina Volkovich, of Literary Theater Dialogue. The program will include Q&A session.
