The brilliant actor Anatoly Beliy and acclaimed saxophonist-composer Arnold Giskin join forces in “Part of Life”, a unique fusion of poetry and music—a concert for voice and saxophone that immerses the audience in a world of deep emotion and reflection.
This musical-poetic journey blends the timeless works of Osip Mandelstam, Boris Pasternak, and Joseph Brodsky with the fresh voices of contemporary poets Zhenya Berkovich and Ali Khaitlina, where words and music enhance each other and each line comes alive through soaring saxophone improvisations, creating a magical unity of sound and meaning.
“Part of Life” is a reflection on the time we live in, on our lives and experiences, with each piece—whether lyrical, contemplative, or inspired by nature—revealing its full emotional depth.
