About Cherry Orchard Festival

Mission & What We Do

Our mission is to celebrate the international arts in the heart of New York City and beyond. We introduce and promote global cultural activity and exchange of ideas to enlighten and engage an inter-generational audience through entertaining and educational programs and events in all genres.

The Cherry Orchard Festival is produced by the Cherry Orchard Foundation. We were founded in 2012 to celebrate the international arts in the heart of New York City.

We bring world-class, multi-disciplinary performing and visual arts attractions that are unique and have never been presented before in the US.

Our goal is to provide access to our events to everyone; ticket prices are modest, and whenever possible, we offer open Festival events that are free to the public!

We strive to find the newest and most daring projects in the international arts arena to introduce to our audiences in New York and in major cities across the U.S.

The idea of Cherry Orchard Festival started a few years ago. We mounted our first FESTIVAL in May of 2013.

We are committed to providing the finest performing arts and entertainment, exceptional musical performances and enlightening educational programs to our patrons and to new audiences of all ages. We are proud partners with world-class venues where Festival events have taken place, including New York City Center, Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, Carnegie Hall, and New York Public Library.
